I’m excited to announce a new partnership with Cognizant’s Digital Operations business unit. The partnership targets the growing challenge for enterprises needing to automate workflows that involve large amounts of unstructured content, such as documents, emails, text, and images that make up over 80% of the data in most enterprises.
At Indico, we’ve developed a unique application of a proven AI methodology called transfer learning, which enables our customers to deploy AI to unstructured enterprise content more effectively, while eliminating many of the common barriers to adoption. This means that your team can build custom models that have been trained on fewer than 200 examples. These “Indico Docbots” are able to perform custom classification, extraction, and transformation tasks on unstructured content to help your team automate critical business functions that typically involve documents.
Our partnership with Cognizant will include process automation consulting, custom model development, and workflow design, as well as a variety of deployment options including managed services, private cloud and on-premise. We’re already active with several clients in the banking, insurance, and financial services segments, with use cases spanning customer onboarding, contract analytics, audit & compliance, customer service workflows, mortgage origination, and insurance claims automation.
Both clients and industry experts recognize that Cognizant has developed significant expertise in applying AI to process automation. That expertise, combined with the full capabilities of our IPA platform, will deliver tremendous value for our mutual clients, while also expanding our reach to Cognizant’s broader client base. We’re kicking off 2020 with some big steps forward—I’m eager to see what the rest of the year brings!
